FAQs

How do I know if counseling is right for me?

Deciding if counseling is right for you is a personal choice, and it’s normal to have questions or concerns about starting therapy.

  • If you’re feeling stuck in a pattern of behavior, emotions, or thoughts that are causing distress and you’re finding it difficult to make changes on your own, our counselors can provide support and guidance.

  • If you’re experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger, or hopelessness that are impacting your daily life, relationships, work, or overall well-being, we can help you explore these feelings and develop coping strategies.

  • Counseling can be helpful during major life changes such as divorce, loss of a loved one, job loss, relocation, or significant health issues. Our therapists can provide support as you navigate these transitions and adjust to new circumstances.

  • If you’re having difficulty coping with stress, managing relationships, making decisions, or handling conflicts, we can equip you with skills and tools to better manage these challenges.

What can I anticipate during my initial session?

When you come to your first session, plan to have a seat in the lobby of the office we currently share with Back 2 Back Chiropractic. We will come to get you when finished with our previous client. During your first session, we will gather current and background information. There will be time for you to ask questions of us, as well as time for us to set goals to accomplish during your treatment.

What can I expect from counseling sessions?

In counseling sessions, you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can freely discuss your thoughts, feelings, and concerns with a trained professional. Our counselors will listen actively and empathetically to understand your unique situation and perspective.
