Jeanette Diekman

Jeanette Diekman, counselor, Mooresville, NC, therapist, Lake Norman, LKN

For over two decades, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals and families in the Lake Norman area on their journey toward mental well-being. Through evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Theory, I empower my clients to navigate challenges and foster resilience.

As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, I specialize in guiding individuals through the complexities of pregnancy and postpartum periods, offering compassionate support tailored to their unique needs. My expertise extends to helping clients effectively manage anxiety, and depression, and navigate life transitions, providing a steady framework during times of change.

I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, believing it to be essential for meaningful progress. By collaboratively exploring thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I work alongside my clients to cultivate insights and implement positive changes that promote lasting growth and healing.

In addition to my clinical practice, I remain committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that I provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to create a safe space where individuals and families feel empowered to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives.

I graduated from Vermont College with a Master’s of Counseling Psychology.  I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHCS #QS140113) in North Carolina.  I am also a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH #1862) and a Certified Perinatal Mental Professional (PMH-C #PSI5704).  In my time away from the office, I love to read, bake, and spend time with my husband, two young adult children, and 3 dogs.
